The villa is located on the edge of the center of Kralendijk. It concerns the former detached house of the governor of Bonaire. This was completely renovated in 2021 and converted into 2 spacious apartments. Because this location is located in Playa and on the edge of the center of Kralendijk, you can enjoy the tranquility but also visit the various restaurants and cafes within walking distance. This makes everything in the center within walking distance.

This is a completely renovated apartment of approximately 130 square meters. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms are of course equipped with air conditioning. It has a modern, very spacious kitchen with all facilities for extensive home cooking. The living room has a large luxury corner sofa with TV. and there is a separate spacious dining room. The Villa has a large garden with shared facilities such as a Green Egg Barbecue. But also a part in the garden where you can withdraw under the porch in your own private outdoor space. You have the possibility to park on your own property and the complex is fenced with a gate.

Transport
From the house to the center you can do everything on foot. When you are going to explore the island, it is useful to rent a car. With most rental companies you pay about 50 to 80 US dollars per day to rent a car. At our villa you have the possibility to rent a car for 40 dollars a day (BMW X5 with steering wheel on the right side). This car is not suitable for diving activities. If desired, an airport pick-up and drop-off service is available on request.
To dive
Casa Gobernador is a perfect location for diving enthusiasts. Around the corner there is a diving school within walking distance (dive friends Bonaire – Yellow Submarine) with which we can offer our guests a 10% discount on equipment or services of the diving school. From here you can walk into the sea to enjoy your dive or get in the car to drive to one of the many dive spots on Bonaire. Is it perhaps possible to show some tiles with photos and/or videos as an impression of what you will find in front of the door in terms of diving.
Sail
There are a number of options for renting a boat on the island. From Villa Gobernador we are happy to help you to book a fishing trip to catch blue marlin, barracuda or tuna in the Bonairean waters or to book a relaxed Sunset sailing trip with a sailboat. Perhaps another option to show a number of photos in a kind of slideshow or tiles of sailing, fishing or sunset tour.
Aquatics
Are you a windsurfer or kiteboarder? Villa Gobernador Bonaire is the ideal base to visit the various popular kite and windsurf spots. There is also ample opportunity in and around the house to store belongings neatly and safely and enough space to store several cars behind the gate of the villa.
